Jesus, with His last breath teaches us something vitally important - He displays the ultimate surrender to the will of God - some of us have been fighting this for a long time. For many of us we are here in this moment and we’ve fought against praying this out because we still want control, we want our own desires, we feel we aren’t good enough, or we just simply can’t believe that Jesus would die for us…but the truth is - JESUS DIED FOR EACH OF US…Paul tells us in Romans 10 that if we confess our sins with our mouths and declare He is the Lord of our lives by His death and resurrection on the cross, that we will be saved!

Over the last few weeks we've looked at the last words Jesus said on the cross. This week, what He says while completing what He set out to do truly impacts our lives. And, the best part of that is, it's GOOD NEWS!

Has there ever been a time in your life that you were really thirsty? The kind of thirst where all you can think about is getting a drink. I’ve been there in sports, playing in the yard as a kid on a hot summer day, or even something too spicy at a restaurant. In this week's message, we see that Jesus expresses His thirst and how this small phrase carries a big meaning.

As Jesus was hanging on the cross, He experienced ridicule, mocking, and insults. The people who were asking Him to get off the cross were the same ones he was staying on there for. That's you. That's us! And in that moment, Jesus says something that, if we're paying attention, means more than we might expect.

The Love of your children - when we see them going through pain and struggles - it’s hard…but I think it can be equally as hard as the child seeing your parents go through those struggles too.  Children, honor your mother and father…what does this mean for us in our lives? Even in death? This was part of Jesus’ famous last words.

Have you ever thought about what your last words will be? As Christians, we’re forced to wrestle with what our last words will be…will they reflect how we lived our lives or will there be a desperate plea for forgiveness or of regret?

When was the last time you stepped out in faith, and dreamed big dreams for God because a healthy table is all about contributors, it’s all about a laser focus, it’s all about progress, it’s all about an outward approach, and it’s all about having the faith to take risks in order to do great things for God.

At Grace we’re all about contributors and we’re all about a laser focus. If this table is going to be healthy, we need contributors and we need a laser focus. This is who we are and this is what we’re going to do. Here’s the challenge: As you look at your life, are you consumer or a contributor? And as you go through this week, look for opportunities to serve other people, and see what God does.

Jesus has become what we can not become, He did what we could never do, and what He calls us to do is grow in our love for Him. And as we grow in our love for him our actions, our motives for what we do will begin to change. Obedience follows love.

Discipleship starts as we learn to say, Jesus, I want to learn at your feet, I want to learn to think like you think, and talk like you talk, act like you act, and react like you react. I want to learn to live your Way, the better Way. I want to learn to live a life that is pleasing to you in everything. Jesus, I Tap Out, I surrender, I want to be your disciple.

Jesus desires to have a personal relationship with each one of us. If you were to die today do you have eternal life? You might say I hope so, I try to do good, I try to go to church, I’ve been baptized. I go to confessional. But Jesus says wait a second, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” Have you ever put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior, have you ever eaten the Bread?

The true sign of spiritual maturity is Christ like Ministry. Where we push away from the table and we go out into the community and hand out samples of the love and grace of Jesus, and we serve people, with the hope of bringing more and more people to the table to hear about the Ultimate message about the Ultimate Bread of Life. 

We're here to honor God, with the best presentation possible. We Honor God by reaching people, with the good news of Jesus Christ and teaching them to become fully devoted followers of Him. And Jesus said, “Go and make disciples...” Go out and invite people to the table, make sure every seat is filled, and then sit back and watch in amazement as God steps in and does something miraculous. What part are you playing at this table? Because the church is a table where people come to get fed.

Because of God, we have an opportunity to be a part of a church in 2026 where God is doing miraculous things. Never take that for granted. Let’s decide today, that we’re going to live in gratitude, that we get the privilege to join God in His work.

Christmas brings us mixed emotions. But, for the most part, it fills us with hope and joy because we received the best gift ever in Jesus. And with that gift, we cannot help but share it with others. That's the essence of the Christmas story, that God is with us and we ought to share it!

If you were asked "Are you a good person?" how would you respond? Most of us would (at the very least) think "I am not too bad, there are some real bad people out there." The struggle we face is that the standard for heaven is perfection. So the question is, if we aren't good, what does that mean for us?

There are misconceptions of heaven. People often think that our experience of heaven will be singing in the clouds for the rest of eternity. But, when we look at Scripture, we see that we find true peace, joy, and fulfillment in Him. The focus of heaven will be on worshipping Him and serving Him with the talents He's given us.

Time is our most precious commodity. Yet, if we are honest, we live as if time is on going for us on this side of eternity. Because of that, we can forget to utilize the time we have which plays a role in how we spend our eternity!

We often value what doesn’t matter and miss what does. What if heaven’s beauty is only a small part of its true importance?

Isn’t it strange that at various points in our lives, we’ve stopped to think about what happens after we die? In some ways it feels morbid. In others, it feels hopeful. But the deeper truth is that ALL of us have a longing to experience God in His fullness. The thing is, Jesus has a lot to say about Heaven that we believe will challenge and encourage you!

You’ll never find fulfillment, you’ll never find fruitfulness in ministry until you find ministry that matches your God-given shape; what experiences has God brought you through, that not only is He working for good, but He wants to use them to minister to the people around you. And once you discover how God has made you, once you discover the hand you’ve been dealt, the final step is to push all the chips into the middle of the table and say, God I’m All in. I’m going to use what you’ve given to me to serve others for your glory.

God has a unique plan for your life, and He’s given you a unique shape to fulfill that plan. He’s given you a unique personality. There’s nobody in the world just like you. But please understand, you’ll never find fulfillment, you’ll never find fruitfulness in ministry until you find ministry that matches your God-given shape; that matches your personality. Are you a talker, a feeler, a thinker or a doer? And once you discover how God has made you, that’s when you’ve got to push all the chips into the middle of the table and say, God I’m All in. I’m going to get off the bench and get into the game and use what you’ve given to me to serve others for your glory.

You're the only person on earth who can use your specific, God-given Abilities as part of God’s purpose for you, and those impacted through you for such a time as this. Will you say, God I’m ALL IN!

Decide this week that you’re going to look for opportunities to serve God in a way that matches your heart. What do you love to do? What are you passionate about? If you could do anything for God and not fail, what would you do? Decide today to push all the chips into the middle of the table and say, I’m all in.

Every Christian has at least one gift. We’ll never fully understand serving God and serving others until we understand how God has gifted us spiritually. This series is called, “All In” So the challenge is, decide today that you’re going to push all the chips into the middle of the table and say, God, I’m all in. I’m going to take the spiritual gifts that you have given to me and I’m going to look for ways throughout the week to put it into practice. I’m going to look for ways to serve God by serving others.

When we look at how Jesus lived His life, you will notice that he spent a lot of time in prayer. Jesus prayed with focus, fervor, and very frequently. He modeled that for you and I, but the question is, do we pray as often as we should?

Our mission is to joyfully join God in ministry and serve the needs of others expecting nothing in return. Our mission is to follow the example of Jesus, and get out our seat and get into the game. And the question is, have you left the sidelines and jumped into the game yet?

An important step for us to be “All In” our relationship with Christ is to recognize the things we place above Him. In other words, we struggle with how to prioritize what it means to give up our own way and “carry our cross” and follow Him daily.

When was the last time you were totally “All In” on something? Meaning 100% sold out with nothing getting in your way. Not with just your words, but your time, attention, and focus? It’s often difficult for us to be “All In” because we have so many things distracting us from what’s often the most important.

A question that is often asked by parents is “how do we center our home on Jesus?” If we are all honest, that can be a difficult question to answer, especially considering the varying stages kids can be in.  The crucial thing for anyone asking this question, is to take that bold step of faith. The Foster care and Adoption world is something that many aren’t too familiar with. But did you know that adoption is something that’s close to God’s heart? In fact, in Romans 8, Paul reminds us that Christians are the adopted sons and daughters of God! That makes me mindful that those families who are in this system are near to God’s heart too.
